A new poll from CBS News places President Donald Trump's approval rating at 40 percent, with 52 percent disapproving.
In his Talking Points Memo, Bill O'Reilly said such a figure is not surprising, taking into account Trump's pledge to "drain the swamp" and shake up Washington.

He said that the 2018 ratings should be more reasonable in favor of the president once his accomplishments take shape.
On the health care bill's failure, the poll found 14 percent of respondents each said Trump didn't do enough, the Republicans didn't do enough and the Democrats didn't do enough to pass the bill.
Forty-nine percent of respondents said the bill's unpopularity was the reason it failed.
O'Reilly said he'd like to see a poll of Americans asking whether "the hatred toward President Trump has reached a dangerous level."
"The answer is yes," he argued.
"Whether you like the president or not, it is brutally unfair to try to undermine his administration as some of his opponents are trying to do. We have the Democratic Party refusing to cooperate on anything."
O'Reilly said it is likely that Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) will have to change Senate rules to confirm Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court over Democrats' opposition.
