Saia began operations in Houma, La. in 1924 and today operates 148 terminals across the U.S. Saia will open four new terminals on May 1 this year as it expands coverage into the northeastern U.S. TST Overland Express was the first Canadian carrier to provide cross-border LTL service in 1952.
