Lubrizol Highlights New Fiber and Hot Melt Adhesiv

CLEVELAND, March 29, 2017 - The Lubrizol Corporation's Engineered Polymers business announces that it will be showcasing its thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) product portfolio for textiles, hot melt adhesives and film and sheet at hall 6.1, stand B50 at the Techtextil trade show in Frankfurt (Germany) from 9-12 May2017. The show is dedicated to advanced textiles and specialty fabrics, bringing together leaders from the industry which provides Lubrizol an excellent opportunity to showcase its Pearlbond ^TM TPU for adhesives, X4zol(TM)-J fiber and Estane ^® TPU film technologies for textiles.

Lubrizol's X4zol(TM)-J, a fiber TPU, is a new elastomeric monofilament that is manufactured differently from spandex, resulting in unique qualities that provide comfort above and beyond traditional stretch fibers. X4zol(TM)-J takes apparel fit to the next generation as it provides balanced 360º comfortable stretch and support, breathability and sustainable benefits.
