(Nasdaq: ALQA ) ("Alliqua" or "the Company"), a regenerative technologies company committed to restoring tissue and rebuilding lives, today announced that it intends to offer and sell, subject to market and other conditions, shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. Alliqua also expects to grant the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase additional shares of its common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.
Rodman & Renshaw, a unit of H.C. Wainwright & Co., is acting as the sole underwriter for the offering. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.
