3 Thugs Try to Rape Little Girl… But They Didn’t See Grandpa
What can be worse then answering your front door late at night to the sight of three armed thugs ready to take advantage of your household?
Kenneth Byrd, 67, experienced this disastrous scenario unfold when his generosity almost got the best of him. After three men came to his doorstep requesting water, claiming to have car trouble, Byrd welcomed them into his home — where they then attempted to rape his 9-year-old granddaughter.
Instead of dialing 911, Byrd took matters into his own hands by grabbing his firearm and began legally defending his home by firing off shotgun blasts into the attempted rapists! These men were Jamie Lee Faison (20), Brandon Carver Stephens (28), and Jamar Hawkins (17). (via US Herald)
After the shootout, in a brazen attempt to avoid the wrath of such a heroic grandfather, the three thugs subsequently ran off like cowards in the vehicle of the homeowner — adding carjacking to their list of crimes.
One of the intruders turned up dead from a sustained gunshot wound, and Byrd suffered significant physical injuries. Thankfully, Byrd is in recovery and we hope he gets back to full heath soon.
Show me any left-wing anti-gun advocate who would oppose Byrd’s 2nd amendment privilege in this situation and I’ll show you a fool. The right to bear arms is not some outdated misinterpreted amendment but a “right” for every citizens to protect themselves from the government and anyone who wishes to inflict harm.
This incident just further highlights the notion in which a good guy with a gun will counter a bad guy(s) with a gun any day of the week. The second amendment is not up for interpretation, it is our constitutional right as American citizens who respect the law.
Thankfully this law-abiding citizens did not fall victim to another instance where low life depraved criminals think they are invincible behind the barrel of a gun.
Imagine if the progressive left ever succeeded in overtly strict gun legislation where good people like Kenneth Byrd could potentially be denied his “right to bear arms” and protect his family?
Not only did “the good guy” here protect his family but was able to limit the lifelong mental suffering these thugs most certainly would have inflicted on his poor granddaughter.
Now imagine this exact situation, but take away Byrd’s shotgun…
