I received a very prompt reply from HEMP investor
Post# of 990
They emailed over the weekend and I had a call this morning. They clarified the reasons for not being able to register SEC filing due to the current regulatory environment. Growing hemp and cannabis are still illegal at the federal level, and so SEC prohibits these companies from being registered with SEC. He explained that several companies in the sector, including HEMP were registered briefly, before being removed.
That being said I found that we should have a new quarterly report coming any day now for Q4 2016, and we had a very good conversation regarding the agent's attendance at Hemp University and the timeline for the decortication portion of the plant coming online later this year.
