From 110 million to 150 million diabetics by 2040. Almost half of the Population is considered prediabetic.
"less than 13% of all diabetics in China have their blood glucose controlled"
Assuming that they will catch up with the US or EU maybe 1 in 4 or 1 in 3 diabetics have the blood sugar controlled.
The figure in China could rise to 30-40 million users gradually.
The sheer monstrous size of the epedemic over there is mind blowing. Imagine DECN with its competitive products could reach just one lousy percentage of this market.
And then there are more than 60 million diabetics in India...
Everywhere you look on the diabetes map the diabetic population is growing over 10%.
World population is over 7 billion people today = 700 million diabetics worldwide.
How could this little company be a failure or throw away its future for a takover?
