Wayne Savings Bancshares, Inc. Declares Quarterly

WOOSTER, Ohio, March 23, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wayne Savings Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: WAYN ),  (the “Company”), the holding company parent of Wayne Savings Community Bank (the “Bank”), has declared a cash dividend of $0.09  per share of the Company’s common stock for the quarter ending March 31, 2017.  This represents an annualized dividend of $.36 per share.  The quarterly cash dividend will be paid on April 26, 2017 to stockholders of record as of April 12, 2017.

At December 31, 2016, Wayne Savings Bancshares, Inc. reported total assets of $454.8 million, deposits of $383.7 million, and stockholders’ equity of $41.0 million, or 9.02% of total assets.
