American West Baseball League
The American West Baseball League is a professional, independent baseball organization located primarily in the Southwest United States. It operates in cities not served by Major or Minor League Baseball teams and is not affiliated with either.
The American West Baseball League requires cities to have the market for a 3,000 to 6,500-seat ballpark and for the facility to be maintained at or to exceed AA standards. 2013 is the inaugural year and will have 6-8 teams in California, Arizona, Nevada and/or Colorado.
