Thanks Crunch55, good to know. It will be interesting to see how close to market this technology is. Another reason to keep a close eye on BOE in addition to Jamis1's hunt for a qmc-boe link.
Its not mentioned here, but I recall electroluminescent QD display tech promised higher efficiency than competing tech, therefore longer battery life in portable devices. It would be really great to see some inroads of QD in the smaller display market--maybe this tech will carve out some space.
