There is no evidence whatever that a hostile takeover was attempted. In fact, given the current status of the company, there's no reason to believe anyone would be inclined to do so. People doing hostile takeovers are looking for revenue streams, cash flows, assets. RMHB isn't there yet.
And: If a hostile takeover HAD been attempted, it probably would have worked. That's why they put the poison pill in place.
