New York, NY - March 20, 2017 - Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) announced today that its agencies had a dominant showing at the 2017 PRWeek U.S. Awards, taking home more than a dozen awards, more than twice the number of honors of any other holding company. Weber Shandwick was named Agency of the Year for the third year in a row, having also been named Large Agency of the Year earlier in the night. Carmichael Lynch Relate was named Midsize Agency of the Year.
Golin took home three of the top honors for client work, including Campaign of the Year, Best Consumer Launch and Best in Social Media, all for the Golin's work on McDonald's. DeVries won two major awards, including Best Viral work and Best in Product Brand Development, both for its Pantene client. MullenLowe was recognized for Best in Creative Excellence and Best in Broadcast/Film/Video for the JetBlue "Reach Across the Aisle" campaign. Finally, Leslie Gaines-Ross, Chief Reputation Strategist at Weber Shandwick, was named Outstanding Agency Professional.
