You may be on the right track that phase 2 trials will need to be wrapped up prior to partnership, but CTIX has made it all to clear that they are not selling the business. They will partner and/or sell the compounds, but they are in it to be a research and development company. I personally believe that CTIX management believes in K so strongly that the end goal is to take it all they way to a blockbuster cancer drug PLATFORM, not just get it approved for one indication and then give control away through a sale. K will be a very long term partnership with whichever BP is lucky enough to give CTIX the right deal.
As for June/July partnership timing for B or P; I think Drano is correct that we have no idea. I am leaning to later rather than sooner in the year only because I know that big dollar deals take lots of time to happen. Even once a dollar amount is negotiated then the BP firms have multiple layers of review and approvals. This always takes time.
