I believe Stotts' presentation was cancelled due to his departure from the company, but as far as I know, Steve & Co quite likely attended the event to take it all in & rub elbows. As Art has indicated; other than discussing general technology, regulations & marketing factors that effect the entire trade sector, there's not necessarily a whole lot to be gained from being a speaker at these events. Logically, it would be foolish to reveal the IP & trade secret details that sets QMC apart, so what's left to talk about[?]. Conversely, the various parties are said to get down to the nitty gritty thru one-on-one networking discussions off to the side, before & after speaking engagements. That's the way I understand it anyway, & to me, that makes sense.
