Whitestone REIT Appoints David F. Taylor to Board

HOUSTON, March 17, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Whitestone REIT (NYSE: WSR ) (“Whitestone” or the “Company”), a real estate investment trust that acquires, owns and operates Community Centered Properties ^TM , announced today that David F. Taylor was appointed to its Board of Trustees on March 17, 2017, effectively immediately.

Mr. Taylor currently serves as the Managing Partner of the Houston office of Locke Lord LLP.  Mr. Taylor has been a Partner in the firm of Locke Lord LLP since 1996 and has served as a corporate and securities attorney at Locke Lord LLP since 1989.
