I have posted several times about criminal naked shorting and some folks have questions as to whether or not it exists. I can understand that because when I first became aware that naked shorting was in fact happening I was sure that regulators and our government would put a quick stop to it once they understood what was going on. Here is the sad story of one short who was in fact prosecuted written by a true American hero Patrick Byrne of Overstock.com. who has been fighting criminal abusive naked shorting for years.
