Van Lanschot today publishes its integrated annual report for 2016. Presenting both financial and non-financial information in conjunction, it offers shareholders and other stakeholders a comprehensive view of Van Lanschot's performance and added value as a wealth manager. The annual report also notes the impending name change of the group later in the year.
Karl Guha, Chairman: 'The time has come to bring more strategic coherence to our brand structure. We will launch a new group name: Van Lanschot Kempen, as a reflection of the nature of our company, our shared culture and the changes we are implementing. Our individual brands Van Lanschot, Evi van Lanschot and Kempen will retain their visibility and trusted status in the market and will continue to focus on private banking clients, private investors and institutional clients respectively.'
The proposed name change of legally listed entity Van Lanschot NV into Van Lanschot Kempen NV will require a change to the Articles of Association, which will be put to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on 18 May in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.
