CTIX had a strong close today and remains technica

CTIX had a strong close today and remains technically robust. It is my second largest position. I have done lots of DD on several young companies with potential breakthrough technology, and I have a long-time interest in one particular company that often sits right next to CTIX on the "most viewed" and "most active" board columns, but is in another sector (alt. energy).

Here are some interesting parallels: both companies received 10+ million in funding this year; both are on the edge of solving very worthy societal problems that nobody else has been able to solve; both have extremely bright and creative technical founders, both have had their SP languish below a dollar for some time (the other still does), both have share structures that include super-voting rights to protect against take-over; both have controversy surrounding them; and both contain the prospect of substantial reward if successful.

Perhaps for all these reasons, both companies have a target on their backs from folks who work the other side of the street. This is unfortunate, but unavoidable, so I always try to honor the sign when visiting the zoo: "please don't feed the animals."

A final personal similarity: these two companies are my largest holdings.
