StockPromoters.com isn't a very reliable site. They do scans to find stocks being talked about, but often have no way of knowing/proving when a stock is PAYING to promote vs. just being talked about... For example, in mid-February I saw StockPromoters.com claim that OWCP was paying "Bull in Advantage" to promote, so I reached out to them directly and this was our brief Twitter DM conversation:
OWCP has no reason to promote their stock because they're NOT diluting like most Pink Sheet junkers. OWCP actually has $2M in the bank thanks to $1.6M in recent Non-Dilutive Financing (6 month restricted shares). Management could care less about the day-to-day stock price... If they did, they would put our frequent PRs to create fluff-hype.
I'm confident there's nothing to worry about here with PAID Promotions.
P.S. Isn't it also fishy that you have to sign-up for a "FREE" account in order to even do a 'scan'? Sounds like a nice way to get e-mail addresses so THEY can sell them to other promoters or something?
