DR. SHARON ROZENBLAT, PH.D.
Dr. Rozenblat is an independent consultant in the field of herbal research and product development for the cosmetics, pharma and raw materials industries. She has over 15 years’ experience in research and development of herbal extracts and products, mainly in the field of dermatology. In the past 8 years, Dr. Rozenblat served as the chief scientist at Kamedis ltd. in Israel, an herbal-based dermatological company, where she had established the R&D department and led the herbal research and the development of herbal-based products for the treatment of different dermatological conditions. She also served as the scientific research director of joint development projects funded by the Korea-Israel Industrial R&D Foundation (KORIL) and Israel-Singapore foundation (SIIRD) resulting in numerous products and patents. In her work in Chengdu, China, she had developed advanced extraction methods and Quality Control methodology. Dr. Rozenblat gives lectures in many dermatology and biotechnology conferences. Dr. Rozenblat earned her doctorate in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Bar Ilan University in Israel, where her research focused on botanical components as therapeutic agents for melanoma.
