NEW YORK, March 13, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- National Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: NHLD ) (“National” or the “Company”), a leading full service independent brokerage, investment banking and asset management firm providing a wide array of services, today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire select assets of Williams Financial Group, subject to FINRA approval. Under the terms of the transaction, National will pay $2.3 million in initial consideration at closing, with the potential for additional cash and/or stock payments if certain performance targets are met within the 3 years following closing.
Williams Financial Group has approximately 230 financial professionals nationwide with approximately $6.5 billion in client assets under management. The addition of select assets from the Williams organization will be an important and complementary addition to the Company’s current business.
