Oil prices are relatively stable. A new prediction and I can't remember what group said it . "Oil demand will outstrip supply by 2020".
As countries like India with a population of 1.3 B become more prosperous as well as China with an ever growing middle class, besides Brazil an others the demand for energy is growing.
Even with the advent of electric cars I doubt that we will be seeing any 747's flying the friendly sky's any time soon on lithium batteries or any other battery.
As much as we want to reduce the CO and CO2 the populations are growing for now and prosperity is also, two things that use more carbon fuel. How ever sulphur free fuel is going to become even more in demand and who makes that
