The fact that's omitted from the research design might hinder progress with a potential recovery permit application. The FBAR wants ALL the information that has been obtained. But what idiot of a CEO when copied on an email by the author of the research design doesn't alert alert the author and inform him about what he doesn't know? How freakin hard would that be?

First of all, Sinclair's research design at that time had OMITTED the claim about the Captain's wife and the platters. That's not part of the research design. That's misleading at best.
Second, if it's publicly available Sinclair should have found it. The fact that he hasn't, if true, shows he's not being served very well by Kyle and/or the sap who claims it's CONFIRMED.
