Amb. Haley on North Korean Leader: We're Not Dealing With a 'Rational Person'

United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley said all options are on the table for dealing with North Korea, declaring that the hermit regime's leader is not a "rational person."

Haley spoke Wednesday after a United Nations Security Council meeting on the latest provocations from Kim Jong Un, including the launch of four ballistic missiles on Monday.

"We are not dealing with a rational person," said Haley, adding that Kim Jong Un is displaying "unbelievable, irresponsible arrogance."

"We have to see some sort of positive action taken by North Korea before we can ever take them seriously," she said.

China's Foreign Ministry said the recent missile tests, combined with routine U.S.-South Korea military drills are increasing the tension, likening it to "accelerating trains coming toward each other."

The council, including the U.S., rejected a proposal from China for both sides to suspend the actions.

On "America's Newsroom" today, Gen. Jack Keane (Ret.) said the past 20 years of U.S. foreign policy has not been successful and now Pyongyang is getting closer to possessing a nuclear-armed missile that can reach the U.S.

"We are on a collision course with North Korea. We cannot permit them to weaponize an ICBM capable of reaching the United States," said Keane, a Fox News military analyst.

Keane said China must understand that the U.S. is serious about a preemptive strike, including a cyber-attack, to prevent this from happening.
