During February 2017 AB Klaipėdos Nafta (hereinafter – the Company) reloaded 561 thousand tons of petroleum products into its storage tanks of Klaipėda and Subačius oil terminals, i.e. less by 24.9 per cent compared to February 2016, when 747 thousand tons were reloaded.
During the first two months of 2017 the Company in total reloaded 1,186 thousand tons of petroleum products into its storage tanks or less by 23.0 per cent compared to the same period of 2016 when 1,540 thousand tons were reloaded. The transhipment volume decrease in 2017 is related with the lower volume of petroleum products delivered from Belorussia refineries in relation with a decrease of crude oil supply.
In the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal of the Company during February 2017 re-gasified and supplied to the natural gas transmission system total 105 thousand MWh of the natural, while in February 2016 - 1.704 thousand MWh. During the first two months of 2017 the Company in total re-gasified and reloaded 890 thousand MWh of the natural gas (during the same period of 2016 - 2,775 thousand MWh). In 2017 the LNG terminal started new services – LNG reloading and during 2017 the Company in total reloaded 166 thousand MWh of LNG. The LNG terminal activity level decreased in relation with lower capacities ordered by the terminal users.
The preliminary sales revenues for February 2017 of Klaipėda and Subačius oil terminals comprise EUR 2.6 million and are less by 27.8 percent compared to the same period of 2016 (EUR 3.6 million). The preliminary sales revenues for January-February 2017 of the Company’s oil terminals comprise EUR 5.4 million and are less by 30.8 per cent compared to the same period of 2016 (EUR 7.8 million).
The preliminary sales revenues of the Company’s LNG Terminal for February 2017 comprise EUR 5.4 million (January 2016 – EUR 6.2 million). This revenue comprise from the part of security supplement dedicated for compensation of LNG terminal exploitation expenses and regasification tariff. The preliminary revenues of the LNG terminal for the first two months of 2017 comprise EUR 13.1 million and increased by 6.5 per cent compared to the same period of 2016 (EUR 12.3 million).
In the Company’s announcement regarding preliminary transhipment and revenue results for the January 2017 the preliminary revenue of LNG terminal indicated EUR 5.8 million. However after gas consumption capacities have been revised and adjusted the LNG funds administrator has recalculated the security supplement for January 2017 and calculated EUR 7.5 million of LNG terminal revenues for the January 2017, which are higher by EUR 1.7 million comparing to those indicated in the announcement about revenue for January 2017 released by the Company.
Total preliminary sales revenues of the Company for the 2017 comprise EUR 18.5 million, i.e. 8.0 per cent less compared to same period 2016 (EUR 20.1 million).
