The Pros to Know Awards recognize supply chain executives who are leading initiatives to help prepare their companies’ supply chains for the significant challenges of today’s business climate. Award winners are selected from a group of nominees in two categories: practitioners and providers.
Cloud Logistics applauds Jordan Downs of Central Garden & Pet as a first-time winner of the award. Central Garden & Pet’s deployment of a cloud-based TMS in less than 30 days has helped them consistently deliver to customer expectations and hold ship points, vendors and carriers accountable.
Rick Meyer, another first-time recipient of the practitioner award, also spearheaded a TMS implementation. Meyer says that a cloud-based TMS enables better and earlier transportation decisions, which ultimately improve inventory management across the network.
