In an article from Friday, The Washington Post seemed to paint a sympathy story for undocumented criminal immigrants who have been deported back to Mexico.
The article, "After decades in America, the newly deported return to a Mexico they barely recognize," looks at the deportees "who had left families and jobs behind after being swept up in the Trump administration’s mounting effort to send millions of undocumented immigrants back to their economically fraught homeland."
Washington Times Deputy Opinion Editor Kelly Riddell joined "Fox & Friends Weekend" to discuss the Post's article.
Riddell called out the "absurdities" in the story.
"I would just appreciate if The Washington Post could write with such compassion and sympathy about the blue-collar, everyday American worker like they did about these illegal criminal aliens getting deported back to their home country," she said .
