Here's the response I got:

Joe, Very taboo question. When a prospective buyer purchases an $80 bottle of wine, the industry wants him or her to feel as if that experience is worth $80. Most in the industry are not willing to talk of margins, cost, and revenue with outsiders simply because it is extremely regulated and to be honest, the average consumer has no knowledge of what the cost of production costs. You're correct when you said, show someone a $100 bottle of Prosecco and their first response is, "Is this really worth $100?"
As a whole, no. The bottle and its contents are not 'worth' $100. Profits from wine production are not easy to determine in the sense that gold is worth a set $1,200 per ounce.
I have not heard of Bellissima Prosecco but will look it up out of curiosity. To answer your question concerning how much Iconic Brands, Inc earns in profits, it is very subjective. Being organic, that will add to its worth due to several variables. First, 'organic' is in high demand. Second, growing organically costs more. With this said, even the cork comes into play as you must factor in the cost of the wire cage. Also, consider the grapes used in each bottle take years to grow; this also adds to the final cost.
It is difficult to make an educated guess by comparing similar products as I do not know the size of their facility. Companies which sell cheap wine often have huge facilities and mix and match many kinds of grapes into one bottle. In fact, the reason a $9 bottle of wine costs $9 is mainly due to low quality foam corks, thin glass bottles, and stick-on labels.
From what you have told me, it appears Iconic Brands, Inc is much more regulated with a higher quality product and bottle (which again, adds to the worth of the product).
Cost of facilities, cost of grapes per ton, being organic, administrative costs, cost of production, distribution channels, vineyard, international, importing, packaging, and salaries, Iconic Brands, Inc more than likely has a profit margin of around 30 to 55% with their final cost of production being around $9.99 to $15.40 per bottle.
Average cost would be $12.69 per bottle leading the per bottle profit to be $9.31. Roughly $1.6 million dollars profit per month or $20 million per year selling 30,000 cases per month.
Also, consider these numbers are probably lower than actual profits. Purchasing one bottle will be more expensive than purchasing a case. Taking this into consideration, the numbers may be approximately $1.8 million profit per month or $21.6 million per year.
Factoring in several variables with which I am unaware, my final assumption would be anywhere between $14 million to $22 million profit per year.
This is the best estimate I could find. Definetely possible with so many stores selling Bellissima.
Of course, it may take some time to reach this 30,000 cases a month, but forget the $14 million a year estimate. Think about it.. even just $2 million this year would be astronomical!
