Back when I was a stock broker, and that was many, many moons ago, we were instructed to stay a million miles away from penny stocks. So, no, I had no experience in those precincts.

I hear you saying that with penny stocks, the fundamentals can get buried under short sellers, MM activity, day traders, low volume, high anxiety (by virtue of its penny-stock status), etc. I agree completely.
