Summary of my talks with IR today:
- Number of Ultraflix users is confidential information but thousands a week are signing up.
- We paid a lot of money for Paramount content and earned a lot of money with it. We are not ready to spend money on marketing awareness for UltraFlix at this time. We are not in beta testing mode, we have been released for over a year, however, when we spend money on marketing we want to get a return on that spend, and at this time we don’t think we would get that. The competition knows about us, however they do not know how many users we have and we don’t want to tip our hand as we want to maximize our effectiveness of gaining competitive advantage with them.
- The company is in the midst of a reorganization and building a new strategic plan. The first step was bringing on the new CEO.
- The Loss of Settlement Debt of $1,496,113 in the fins is from the lawsuit from Florida that our previous CEO settled but did not execute on the settlement. It’s debt that we have to deal with, and are doing so.
