Its not a bad theory.
Out of this deal, My goal is to get my meager initial investment out of it in gains so I can play with that money (or buy back in when the timing is right) and let it ride much higher over the long term with a solid position remaining in the stock....(hopefully much more than it will take to get my meager investment out).
My great Grandfather a long time ago taught me about speculating and being patient. He was an old steam engine train engineer and way back in the 60's right around when he was ready to retire or so he used to stop by a little country restaurant in Tennessee with rocking chairs and he made it a tradition.. eventually that company went public and he bought it real cheap then it became what we know today as Cracker Barrel. I got a 100 shares worth about 50 bucks back in the 80's from him one Christmas and I just gave them to my kids.. (trading at 160.+/- today)
This could be our CBRL moment.
