$PSGR STANDARD MINE.... Is this the 'new' mining claim for Pershing Resources? I have located a Standard Mine (possibly AKA Blue Bird Mine in the past). This 'Standard Mine' is a mine located north of Kingman, AZ southeast of the town of Chloride, AZ. This 'Standard Mine' (listed in Arizona Mining) is just north of Mineral Park/Mineral Park Road at an elevation of 5089', Lat/Long 35.38806, -114.14111. The mine is located on the east side of Hwy 93.
There are several other mines with the name 'Standard' in Arizona, this particular mine fits the description provided by Pershing Resources as near Kingman, AZ and 'near' its other mining claim.
I could not find a listing for the previous owner, A&M LLC, out of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. I searched data bases in both Canada and the US but was unable to find any information. This is possibly a clam that was bought and held by an individual and then sold at a profit(??) WITHOUT working the claim.
IF this is the correct location for the STANDARD MINE listing referenced by Pershing Resources, the area has MANY small Mom & Pop mining operations. There is one relatively large mining operation in the Mineral Park area that has produced COPPER at a profit. To the best of my knowledge, there are NO precious metal mines that are operating continuously AND at a profit (other than Mom & Pop mines that are privately owned VERY VERY small operations).
Does anyone have more accurate/current information available?
Has anyone tried to contact corporate Pershing Resources for any information/comment? I have not received any responses from prior E-Mails, etc.
