One of the bigger mysteries of this stock is why the share value is so low. For me there is no mystery here.
In the past two years there have been two different periods of time where certain news outlets released a very positive article on DECN. Unfortunately, the price or value of a stock cannot be determined by hype. It must be determined by sales . And it takes time for sales to become effective. It was only a few short months ago that we were in a position to effectively sell.
But for a company to announce a $17 million contract on test strips was very impressive with no real bounce in the share values. There are 500 shareholders here at DCN. This was good news for us. But for the rest of the world, given the last two failures to launch, they are skeptical. For me, I bought in at a very low share price. For many of my friends, they bought in at over $.60 per-share. So they are not going to buy anymore until they see sales.
KB and crew have done a wonderful job getting us started and also planting seeds for our future. We are no longer a one trick pony.
