for the roads and schools .
yes we need updated infrastructure new roads and bridges. the brides are what need the most work as the are out dated and falling apart but we still use them.
for schools we need to get rid of the standardized core as what they are teaching in school now is getting kids ready to take the Standardized tests to see were the school stands against others and see were the kids fall in percentile against other kids in the same grade . that is not teaching. the need to go back to the basics . reading , writing, math, science, American history as well as world history and English.
we also need to get ride of this no kid left behind act as with it if a child fails they might hold them back once but after that they push them though school so the stay up with there peers weather they can do the work or not . if they get to far behind they just though them in special ed and push them tough 12 years of school and give them a certificate that says you completed 12 years of school not a diploma.
when you and I went to school there was no standardized core you were taught. the students were taught U.S. history, world history, science , math, and English and even spelling now they don't even teach that . when we went to school you ether had the grades to pass or you failed did not matter how many times you failed do the work or else. there was no special ed the schools have went to hell since then.
