Antennas are $20, not worth baking it into the price of a TV especially since most users prefer their own OTT based on operating system preferences.
Android people love their android devices. Apple people love their iPhones and Apple TVs. ROKU fanatics swear by the ROKU. Amazon people love their fire stick.
The other part is, there are viewers who prefer to have several different devices for different situations.
For me, I have a chrome cast, two Apple TVs, an android device, and one smart TV. They all have a purpose in each room.
To summarize, people are out of touch if they think that consumers care about antennas and getting channels over the air.
Things have already changed. Mobile applications are everything....
