UTStarcom Announces Board Member Resignation

HONG KONG, Feb. 24, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- UTStarcom (NASDAQ: UTSI ), a global telecommunications infrastructure provider, today announced that Tetsuzo Matsumoto has resigned from the Board of Directors to devote more time to his other business commitments.  His resignation is effective February 22, 2017.

Himanshu Shah, the Chairman of UTStarcom’s Board of Directors, commented, “We thank Tetsuzo for his contributions to UTStarcom during his tenure.  We respect his decision and wish him all the best going forward.”
