Intermountain Healthcare Acquires Utah Valley Imaging from Utah Radiology Associates

OREM, Utah, Feb. 23, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Utah Radiology Associates (URA) and Intermountain Healthcare (IH) have entered into an agreement for IH to acquire ownership and management of URA's privately owned outpatient imaging center, Utah Valley Imaging, and its multidisciplinary pain management clinic, Utah Valley Pain Management. Following the sale of these two centers to IH, URA will continue to provide professional diagnostic imaging interpretation and pain management interventional services at Utah Valley Imaging under contract with IH.

URA and its multidisciplinary team of providers and superb staff sincerely appreciate the opportunity to have served the physicians and patients of Utah County and surrounding areas for over a decade at these two facilities. URA thanks the many loyal physicians and providers who have referred to our facilities. In large part, URA owes its success to its many dedicated technologists, office staff and managers who have helped provide high quality, high-value care.

URA will maintain its private ownership and operational control of the Intermountain Vein Center (IVC) and its outpatient interventional radiology clinic, Utah Valley Interventional Associates (UVIA). These outpatient facilities will continue to be owned and operated by URA.

URA will also continue to be the exclusive contracted provider of professional imaging and interventional services at IH-owned facilities in Utah and Wasatch Counties. The physicians of Utah Radiology Associates look forward to continuing in their tradition of providing superb service and care throughout the regions they serve.
