UPDATE-"We The People" petition reached 100,000 signatures needed for the petition to be reviewed by the White House. 101,411 signed it thus far (6:40PM EST 2/19/2017). The White House commits to responding to a petition within 60 day, "depending on the topic and the overall volume of petitions". I will be sure to follow this closely and post updates as I receive them.
GLTA and let’s hope for the obvious, a complete reversal of..."Under the current U.S. drug policy, all cannabis varieties, including hemp, are considered Schedule I controlled substances under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA, 21 U.S.C. §§801 et seq.; Title 21 CFR Part 1308.11). Hemp production is controlled and regulated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)".
