SEATTLE, Feb. 17, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Leading online jeweler Blue Nile (NASDAQ: NILE ) today announced the successful completion of the acquisition of the Company by an Investor Group, comprised of Bain Capital Private Equity, Bow Street and Adama Partners, for $40.75 per share in cash. The transaction, originally announced on November 7, 2016, was approved by Blue Nile's shareholders on February 2, 2017.

As a result of the completion of the transaction, trading in Blue Nile’s common stock on the NASDAQ will be suspended effective Tuesday, February 21, 2017.
