Absolutely. The bog standard Hedge Fund with about 35m AUM is hardly something to marvel at. Add the 20% incentive allocation and they are not such smart money investments.
Needing the "diversification" dodge as a justification says it all.
The track record you're building with the mag 7 puts the private equity industry to shame. Could be the basis of a fund launch.
