'Burned Twice' is a fitting name for the carbon or carbon/graphite used for the CSRV valve seal. Since it has been already burned, it essentially cannot be burned more. It is so extremely fine, to the molecular level, that it is smooth beyond comprehension and when combined with a binder to form a ceramic of carbon, is incredibly hard and withstands huge temperatures.
Carbon ceramics are used for the nozzles of solid propellent rockets as well as the seals for nuclear shafts in highly radioactive places. Nothing in an Internal combustion engine (ICE) begins to encroach on such hostile, erosive and corrosive environments.
Third party review many years ago during that test by GC and a testing firm would be no different today, just one hell of a lot more expensive.
As I have said a few times before 1. I have used that stuff, 2. I have met with GC and seen the applications, 3. I have had clear contact with him to work with me on a project I was to start. That is all needed for me to continue to invest as opportunity presents, sleeping quite well through the night.
This is not a pump, for there is no better time than now for me to buy. Sooner or later it will either be a great tax write off or a great boom.
