loon - Mark Cuban: Trump Hasn't Shown Any Leadership as President
Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban was once friends with President Donald Trump, but now he's one of his most high-profile critics.
Throughout the election process, Cuban took shots at Trump, calling his brand "toxic" and claiming he "rather lose every penny" than see Trump win.
Over the weekend, Trump fired out a tweet that made it clear that he's not a big fan of Cuban, either.
On "The O'Reilly Factor" tonight, Cuban doubled down on his criticism of the president.
"I don't think Trump has been able to show any leadership. I don't think he's taken responsibility for the White House," Cuban told Bill O'Reilly.
He said that even though Trump met with several business leaders and CEOs, he ignoring "macro issues," such as the fact that the "nature of work" in America is changing.
"He's shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic by going and talking to these companies and dealing with five and ten and even 25 thousand jobs at a time," Cuban said. "He hasn't demonstrated that he understands the bigger picture."
He argued that artificial intelligence and machine-learning will significantly alter the American workforce in the future, making many manufacturing jobs obsolete.
"We’re going to see more technological change over the next three years than we’ve seen over the last 30," Cuban said. "People are going to be replaced by these technologies."
