Sounds like the 11th hole at my old Purpoodock Club in Cape Elizabeth,Me.
Arnold Palmer used to play that course whenever he was in Maine.(RIP)
A gentleman's gentleman.
I had a strong drive off the tee in my younger years.I used to drive over the trees on the dogleg and land within 100 yds of the green.The dogleg was about 275 yds from the tee but I always cut that corner.Got a couple of 2's on that par 5 but usually a 3 stroker for me.(It helped me make up for screw-ups on previous holes though)
Oh to be young again !!!
