Would that mean that shares would go to the number of holders who thought they were holders? - If so, that would give shares to all of the people that are holding (honestly) illusiory shares.
Or would it force brokerages to get right first by buying back outstanding shares??
Maybe it would just be better to cancel the shares ntgl holds. That would concentrate all value in the hands of 26,000,000 shares. Then if brokerages are forced to get right with NTGL, they would be chasing 26,000,000 shares instead of 181,000,000. Many of those distributed shares would go to people who felt newly wealthy and would sell to realize gain.
