The science behind the CannaSens Delta9 THC detection device originates in part from the proprietary technology developed by BioCube's partner in this joint venture, IUT Medical GmbH, located in Berlin, Germany. IUT is a recognized applied science leader in the field of identification and detection methodologies, with a deep knowledge of technologies such as Ion Mobility Spectroscopy (IMS), Photo Ionization Detector (PID) analyzer and Gas Chromatographic Column (GC-Column). IUT-designed systems provide on-site detection and analysis of air particles for the presence of toxic chemical compounds, warfare agents, explosives and drugs. Through a combination of its state of the art R&D facility and manufacturing capabilities, IUT continues to enhance its knowledge of these complex and important technologies, while directly marketing and selling their detection systems to customers worldwide.
Utilizing sophisticated technology, BioCube and its strategic partner, IUT Medical, have developed CannaSens Delta9, a state-of-the-art portable THC breathalyzer device. Although some early research shows there may be potential benefits in the use of medical cannabis to treat various diseases and conditions, the Company is also keenly interested in promoting public safety and the responsible use of marijuana.

Description of BioCube's Breathalyzer Device
The CannaSens Delta9 is a user-friendly device that can detect the presence of THC in the breath of an individual who has smoked marijuana within several hours prior to being tested.
Delta9 utilizes IMS, PID or GC-Column detection technologies to analyze the breath sample collected from an individual exhaling into a tube attached to the device. As the sample passes through the device, it is ionized and the resulting molecules undergo complete analysis, with the target substances detected and identified. Any resulting concentration levels are calculated and displayed on an LCD screen. Communication with an external computer or a data collection/exchange server is accomplished via a USB port. The Delta9 device is also capable of sounding an alarm once the concentration level reaches preset limits.
