Left Calls on Music Festival to Nix Toby Keith Over Inauguration Performance
Some residents of Naperville, Ill., have called for the removal of country music star Toby Keith from the Ribfest music festival's lineup after he performed at President Donald Trump's Inauguration.
These residents took to social media to call Keith too political. Illinois voted Democrat in the 2016 presidential election.
Just as many people on social media stood by Keith's right to perform
Keith meanwhile never endorsed a candidate in the election.
The organizers of Ribfest, which takes place June 30 - July 3, said Keith will still be performing at the festival.
