Spicer: Conway Was 'Counseled' After Promoting Iva

During a press briefing on Thursday, Fox News' John Roberts asked White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer about Kellyanne Conway promoting Ivanka Trump's clothing line during an appearance on "Fox & Friends."
Conway, a top advisor to President Donald Trump, urged people to "go buy Ivanka's stuff" after several retailers dropped the first daughter's products.
Roberts asked Spicer if he thinks Conway crossed an "ethical line."
Spicer said that Conway "has been counseled on that subject" and refused to make further comment.
Some Democrats are now calling for an investigation into whether the comments broke government rules.
House Oversight Committee Ranking Member Elijah Cummings (D-MD) wrote a letter to committee chair Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) to refer Conway to the Office of Government Ethics.
