LAGUNA HILLS, Calif., Feb. 06, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sonendo ® Inc. today announced it has acquired PIPStek™ LLC, including all of the intellectual property for its PIPS ® laser technologies. PIPStek™ LLC will continue as a stand-alone company and will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Sonendo.
Sonendo’s GentleWave ® System will continue to be Sonendo’s only offering for root canal therapy. Sonendo will not be commercializing a PIPS ® - based therapy for endodontics. Studies have shown that the GentleWave Procedure shows significant improvement in clinical efficacy and treatment efficiency when compared to standard root canal treatments 1-2 .
