There is usually an opening for a low cost alternative in any product category. In the diaper industry (of which I don't know much except for my investment in The Honest Company aka THC), there are the big, brand name companies, there are organic, non-toxic options like THC, and maybe others.
So, BMXC can slot itself as a low cost alternative to these others, mentioned above, who are more expensive.
Therefore, there can be room for BMXC to gain market share in the diaper category even though there are huge companies with a strong history of sales in the category.
They may not get as big as these other companies, but that can be okay if they aim for being a small fish in a big pond. It can work.
