Absolutely nothing against negotiating trade deals. If we had free trade.....there would be no need. Something that you are not understanding is that bilateral agreements(BITS) are always in play. They exist without free trade..........so any argument suggesting that TPP et al will bring on something new and evil is just plain stupid.
